In the 1961 baseball season, Roger Maris, a blunt, no-nonsense, Hibbing, Minnesota native, played right field for the New York Yankees.   He endured personal and professional criticism for trying to break the record previously held by Babe Ruth for the number of home runs hit in a single baseball season. On October 1st, 1961, Roger Maris hit his 61st home run, breaking Babe’s record and securing his place as a baseball legend. This two-man show chronicles Maris’ journey into the record books.

The Audio Description date for this production is September 24th.

The Mousetrap

A strange traveler appears claiming his car was overturned in a snow bank, and a detective arrives on skis to warn that Mrs. Lyon’s murderer may come to the manor. When another murder takes place, it is clear they are already trapped inside with the murderer.   This “whodunit” by master mystery writer Agatha Christie has been in continuous production since its opening in 1952, making it the longest running play in modern theater.
